I stripped my tank down & flushed the filters out with brake cleaner (I'd run out of carb cleaner). The pump sounds a lot quieter & happier when priming & running now. Not surprising really as the pickup filter was manky as hell & the high pressure filter was flowing dark brown when I started. At £150 for the high pressure filter (the odd shaped black bit in the pic) it's worth cleaning not replacing!

That should cure the loss of power at higher throttle/revs last weekend.

Here's a picture I took six years ago of my boy on my old GPZ500.

He still loves bikes now.

I scored very low on the autie test. I’m cheerful, happy, confident, like meeting new people, chatty and largely sociable. What the fuck am I doing on this forum?

Anything with a raised mudguard round here gets nicked in minutes. I’d love a crf but I’d have to build a bat cave to hide it from the scrotes.
Just when I thought I was out they dragged me back in.

One of my relations rides motorbikes. Now retired from racing , he did 125s 250s gp500s bsb wsb , moto gp .. and crashed a bit . I used to watch him on telly and i thought he was fucking ace if he stayed on..and a bloody stylish rider .( As were the other top riders of that era )
I'm just watching BSB from Donnington...so why do they now hang a leg out ? I don't think he ever did ..

I think Rossi started that with some claim about 'lowering the CoG' or such so they all copied him.

Sounds like bollocks to me tbh.

I thought they must be making it harder for the bike behind to overtake up the inside ! Easy way to get your leg broken .
