The autojumble, or, I should've stayed in bed, thread.

Talk about your cars etc here. Keep it sort of sensible and on topic please.

Did you manage to acquire a sufficient amount of grease nipples for your journey towards Boolee?

Beaulieu is just round the corner from me (alright its 7 miles across equine-infested moorland). I have free access because Trust Member. It is also the occasion of some Morris Fest or other so will be littered with Nuffield detritus (most of which will unfortunately be Chinese cheese).

What a cracking weekend to pull 4 x 12 hour shifts Friday to Monday then.

Never mind, there is always September - bigger, still free (If I remember to renew), less Mowogged and generally better quality of rainfall.

What's that, calendar? Fucking 4x12 hour shifts Friday to Monday again?

First you work all your life so you can't go, then after that you have no money so you can't go.

Glad I juiced it when I could, then. Go along to a Beaulieu if you haven't been before.

Generally speaking, though, autojumbles are full of fat old cunts in fleeces taking all their shit back home (again). By far and away the best folk to deal with at Beaulieu are the European sellers - they seem to understand what the actual crack is.

The fat old cunts in fleeces bit offended me, because I'm a professed member of that minority.
But since nothing else happened as a consequence I'll just crack on with suffering life, I guess.

I am certain you are neither fat, old or a cunt JM. Neither do you presumably lurk behind a trestle table full of illegibly-labelled radiator hoses and Chinese clutch plates in old Borg and Beck boxes.....I should have been more circumspect regarding the fleece though. Sorry, chap.

I am sadly guilty as charged on all three accounts.
That and fleeces.

Well, I had a very pleasant, if expensive, weekend. I managed to find a few rare Humber parts I needed, plus many other parts I didn't need, but needed nonetheless. And some very expensive but irresistible Dinky Toys.
