That's a shame, I guess if he has been sectioned then he wouldn't be able to respond to the insurers etc or day that he wanted to retain salvage. Also if he had failed a roadside drug test if one was done given his known behaviour he's probably screwed for getting a payout

Pity the bloody thing wasn't left where it was in the first place. That bodywork looks really straight, too.
There's a great long bar in Rock & Roll heaven.......

Another few weeks and he would have been driving his Reimagined Stolly demonstrator instead, assuming that he could get the key ring back from Paul.

That a real shame. Saw it in person when he was healthy and it was a nice honest car. Can't remember but didn't change the engine or exhaust or something. I remember a bit of outrage on beige as he was driving it on open headers

Re: EBay Finds
The car was pretty much freshly restored when imported. I think it was a documented full on strip down.
I know HK had some spare panels (wing, bonnet, bumper) which were earmarked to repair it but I imagine either the insurance company has given up on the case due to his being sectioned or his possessions have been repossessed and as a crash damaged write off it's just been given to a breakers.
The banger boys are talking about it, but it'll probably not be allowed to leave complete so is most likely just going to get fragged when most of it doesn't sell.
Nobody knows what sort of state he was in when he crashed it, but given his tendency of driving flat out and off his face and the fact he went up the arse of somebody suggests he wasn't in the prime driving condition.

That'll never be allowed to leave the yard the shell won't get raced and most will end up a frag. I firmly blame the enabling idiots on Autoshite.
I would guess to a racer it would easily have made 2k just as a bare panelled shell

Actually not a recent thing either. It'll be fragged unfortunately. I mean I'd rather see it around a track if the only other thing is being cubed.

Re: EBay Finds
This is a bit sad. I feel slightly responsible because it was me that posted the Finnish advert into the Beige thread thus triggering the Cedric's import...
