I’m hoping soon to move house and this jalopy should hopefully help....
It’s a 2000 Mercedes Vito 110 cdi. It has no door bottoms, 3 different resprays in 3 different colours, and an awful lot of clag when you boot it. I must say it is fun to drive and it seems to attract pity/revulsion/admiration in more or less equal measure.

Whilst lowering local property values by its very existence on the street, it also developed a LOUD Exhaust note, mainly due to the system snapping shortly after the fannymold.....
No doubt an engineers mind would assess shortcomings in how the system was mounted contributing to a stress fracture, but being a Luddite I bodged it up....
It’s much quieter, for now at least. It was starting to give me max power flashbacks, what with the paint colour and blaring exhaust, if not the vehicle itself.

Re: HMC Motors- Max power flashbacks?
No, it’s originally a very sober dark green, followed by blue, followed by a half hearted (slime?) green
I’ll get a pic near a shutline for a time team esque trip into past resprays.

Re: HMC Motors- Max power flashbacks?
Now that's the sort of thing you wouldn't give a damn about denting and other road users would give a wide berth. Ideal for moving house.

That’s it. If it got driven into, nicked, whatever I couldn’t care less; that’s strangely liberating.
Give me an old/rare/ mint something or other and it’s something to fuss and worry over. Don’t get we wrong- I’ll probably have something that ticks some or all of those boxes in the future but right now I simply can’t be bothered.
