So what's the thing with the Jaguar like grill?

It's like one of those pastiche japanese mitoku or however you spell it cars but far too big.
Is it a Xedos?

Thanks - I'd forgotten about those.
It looks a bit 'saggy' like a Ford Scorpio at the front to me.

Another great marque that has bitten the dust, at least Alfa looks like it might be finally about to turn around with its new mid market SUV after a load of false dawns.

I'm in Cyprus. While there's a few oldish cars about they're almost all faceless 90s Japanese (there's loads of 323s of various years) and most seem to be direct imports as they all have the Japanese names

Not seen anything driving other than a mini moke. An XR3 today but in a garage yard... And a dead Escort mk4 estate. There's a scrap yard down the road I was hoping to get to, doubt I'll find a Fiesta though.

You need to get yourself over to the UN buffer zone. Right on the edge, by where they have flattened everything there is a really nice old chap with an impressive collection of cars. Cadillac, Peugeot 604, Oldsmobile, Audi Coupes, Volvo P1800 and various others I can't remember. All knackered but he opens the doors every day to stop too much sun damage to the interiors and closes them again in the evening. He does have a few nicer cars in his garden, including another mint P1800. All just about within view of Famagusta.
