My newest toy project.

Talk about your cars etc here. Keep it sort of sensible and on topic please.

My newest toy project.

Post by Garbaldy »

since I still cant get onto the other channel for some reason (I'm a good lad honest) I may as well continue this thread here if no one objection that is.

So the story goes many moons ago when I was a foolish yung un I built this at great expense.

I raced every man and his dog as you do when a spotty yute right up until the fuzz removed it from my care for a few months, after many runnings about I plonked piles of paper receipts to show I had been a good lad and purchased all the bits rather than wogging them from others.

for the past 4 years I've thought about building yet another one and have been looking to purchase a suitable candidate to play with.

It's nothing unless it has a wooden knob.

Now I was going to wait a bit to start but since I can only get about 400 miles driving in daylight with no electrics on due to a goosed alternator then I may as well get my ass in gear.
It's a good job the collection took place in broad daylight as i don't have breakdown cover so could have been a very costly collection  it wasn't disclosed before I decided on a 300 mile journey or I may have had a rethink.

Yes it was the old faithful xud out of a salvage car and tuned by vanaitken developments.
Was a right little flyer off the clock easily.

I had a ZX Volcane TD that had been tweaked by them and that flew too, loved that old car!
