And made in Great Britain, y'know.

Did Esso actually make tyres or did they rebrand someone else's?

But, but! MOI CLASSIC TIRE!
In French, "Me classic shoot"?

Anyone using yank spelling should be shot. Probably by being allied to those cunts.

I know that the tyre manufacturers say replace them every 8 years or so to boost sales but surely these are well past it. The NOS rubber bits I've bought for my T2 have often been useless as they've deteriorated in storage after 40 years.

Does this mean a radial would become available cheaply?
I need one for my spare wheel.

No, old rubber lasts for longer if stored under the right conditions. Careful storage is critical for the life of anything you want to keep. This car will rarely exceed 65 MPH anyway.

It's from Cold War Motors, one of their features. They are Canadian so technically could use French and American English.

Hmmm, my internal jury is still out about Canadians. They're a bit too yank for my taste, but they're also much better mannered than those sister-humping wankholes south of the border.

Took Shonky the bx for its not. A clean pass with compliments on how well mechanically it's looked after. Next one is the Merc but I'm struggling to change the rear abs sensor as it's seized into the diff housing solid. I wonder what rating resistor I'd need to trick the light to go off.
