Re: What did you do today?

The front and two sides of the cx roof welded down. Now need to have a think about what to do about the back edge. Had a play with some gaffer tape and think this might look ok with an led third brake light fitted into it. IMG_20231014_131049156_HDR.jpg IMG_20231014_132249026.jpg IMG_20231014_131553...

Re: What did you do today?

Took the c15 out to collect a 1958 Velosolex that's been part restored and came in plastic crates. It's fully registered so when I've built it over winter I might even try it on the roads at its heady 16mph maximum 😂

Re: What did you do today?

Got fed up of wet sanding the van. I'm really no expert and have sanded through in a few places. Where I have the van is really cramped with poor lighting. I shall return to it next year when it's out in the sunshine. However some bits look great! It's certainly better than the last paint job I did....

Re: What did you do today?

Just click post reply and then the attachment tab to upload files on the mobile version. Screenshot_20230930-141743.png I tried that yesterday, it's how I always used to upload photos. But now after uploading photos there's no add inline button. Discovered if I switch to desktop site the button rea...

Re: What did you do today?

T'is red again. Had to go to desktop site for some reason to attach files. Needed more paint. 1 litre wasn't enough, so the roof lost a few coats. By no means perfect as it's extremely cramped trying to get round it with a spray gun. But only a couple of runs to sort out. Might even wet sand it one ...

Re: What did you do today?

I've spent the total of four days over the last few weeks stripping the defective paint off the van. Tomorrow hopefully I'll get the top coat on. It's completely knackered me out, but trying to get it done before winter starts. I can't seem to attach a photo anymore as there's no add inline button a...

Re: Supercharging the climate with a XJR V8 - Rusty Undercrackers...

That's why I scrapped my x308. Exactly the same, rust, fibreglass, and a fresh coat of truckbed liner to get it through an MOT prior to me buying it. Plus the fact it was rotten both sides along the sill/floor interface, again covered in truck bed liner. It's a shame, they're such lovely cars but ro...
