Is it not wise to start spraying penetrating oil into the suspension bolts now and keep doing it until you are ready to fettle it? I've found that can pay dividends for when you come to do it properly.

Turns out I now have the ep light on permanently so gonna change the 2/4 solenoid as that’s the next port of call otherwise it’s the wiring behind the dash to check, the car is stressing me out loads atm just want it sorted It seems a bit coincidental that you've taken it somewhere, they've checked...

Hypothetical question, are these realistic daily drivers? For an uphill and down dale commute?

The problem is I'd spend thousands fettling the suspension.

I definitely wouldn't want a Webasto. I've had a MGB and it was really quite good.
