Re: What did you do today?
Fitted a replacement door mirror to the Focus. I bought the car with a damaged mirror. Something gave it a right slap. Thing is, the speakers in that door don't work either. Failed due to shock? I'd look at the wires and the connections first, especially where they go through the door. For the firs...

Re: Do EVs make sense to you?
This may have been said already, so apologies as I haven't read the entire thread. The only time electric vehicles would make sense to me would be if they started charging themselves at the first turn of a key. Therefor free energy, zero emissions, and zero road tax. I'm sure there's enough clever p...

Re: What did you do today?
Current owner has just sent me a picture of the P4 I'm buying where he's just gone from Windsor on the motorway thru Central London traffic. Apparently performed flawlessly. Rather reassuring as I'd much rather it be a working project! received_583653310364778.jpeg I probably could have driven it b...

Re: What does your car say about you?
Anyway, I have a 2004 Rover 75 1.8 non turbo. I'm trying to stay as retro as possible while telling Mayor Kahn to go fuck himself for his £12.50 per day.
I've never had a Standard 8 or 10, but I would definitely like to try one, preferably with wide steels or Minilites on.

Re: I need your help.
I gave up trying to get a price for this. I told my manager that I'm not having the car, so the company should sell it, but if anyone wants to make an offer, I'll certainly put it forward.

Re: I need your help.
To be honest Rev, that's the figure I was thinking of. I've put it to my manager via whatsapp, but not had a reply yet. It is Sunday after all. When I get an answer, I'll let y'all know. The Reverend Bluejeans wrote: ↑Sun Jan 22, 2023 10:00 am Right.
It’s worth 1500 quid to retail . 12 year old 130k Insignia with decent MOT history.
Start there.

Re: I need your help.
Sorry about this people. As it's not my car, I can't just bosh a figure up for it.
I'll contact the manager today and suggest a price for it. I'll let you all know if he's agreeable. If not I'll do my best to get a price.
