Re: Dan's Crapi project.

Yeah, sorry Dan! Anyway the point is (sorry again) that I reckon you will be good to go for a long time on that ignition. They're cheap enough to keep a second spare module in the car too. It seems only a little while ago that I saw the Capri shell in Carcraft, can't believe how it looks now! Must g...

Re: Dan's Crapi project.

I seem to remember Boyer kits being the first type of electronic available for Triumphs. I never fitted them to mine but plenty of mates did and went back to points almost immediately. Whether they or other types have improved I couldn't say now but I would bloody hope so after 30 years..... Car exp...

I've never fitted any Oxford parts to the Cowley for similar reasons (except the speedo until I get the much scarcer Cowley...

Re: Dan's Crapi project.

Nice to hear from you again, Dan - and the Capri of course! Good result on the bumpers - better than trying to rely on dodgy chrome-plate work.

Re: 1951 Pontiac Chieftain

Yep. First picture is the Cowley now. Second one is the Cowley - possibly - after a few weekend's work. Only difference being that it wouldn't be running at all and the only thing that worked would be the left hand trafficator, after pulling the light switch out to its second setting.

I don't think even inter-planetary retarded warriors want 206 cabrios now, though.

Re: Dangel 504 Pickup bits needed. Page 13

Thanks for that....I have bought off Ashley Hinton a few times and been pleased with the stuff so far. NTG are a bit dearer but I get good advice from them on the phone, proper enthusiasts and very long established. They are getting a lot of stuff made here now due to supply and quality problems fro...
