Re: That awful colour MGB GT

I used to have a thin pair of horse riding leather gloves I often drove my MG in, mostly because it's was often mid-winter & rather cold but I had the roof down anyway.

Re: Two wheels good.

I got my pillar drill out along with my taps & dies, a couple of hours later I was finishing bleeding the brakes. Bit of a bugger drilling a hard bolt out of soft cheese, but I got it almost square & retapped it to the original size (M4x0.7 for those who care). I didn't have an identical all...

Re: Veg oil

Please tell me that you cunts aren't fucking serious. Back in the late 90s it was saving me per tank to run a Disco on 70-80% veg oil. Well worth it I'd say to avoid paying taxes that are expensive & produce no results for our quality of life. Apart from smelling like a chip shop & running ...

Re: My slightly knackered old cars

They must be costing you a fortune in road tax. I think I'm around £150 a month to tax and £130 for insurance so probably amounts to what regular people spend on their one financed modern car. It's a bit daft to tax them all at the same time but it's more convenient to be able to just jump in whate...
