Re: Two wheels good.
Slightly less exciting here. I rode to Castleford with Nic to drop her bike in for service. Then she jumped on the back of 14 and we went to Batley to explore a few dealers, she's now fixated on a red Z900 once she's passed and can afford it The driving around there really is utterly third world, th...

Gromit once managed to lock himself in a Sierra I had, while it was running. Lucky I was outside home defrosting the car so I could get the spare keys. That's impressive knowing where the door locks are on a sierra. Also knowing fords erratic central locking of the late 80s and early 90s it may wel...

Re: Stupid questions about motorised conveyances
I've read of modern fuels gumming up, but never seen it.
If it's any help I left my XJR sat for about 8 months the other year & did exactly nothing about the fuel left in it when I put it back on the road.

Re: Two wheels good.
I've just fitted a new TPS on my GSX14. That should cure the rough spot at low throttle openings which made her a pain in the arse to ride sensibly around town etc. Only the third time I've replaced one on that bike, 30k before I expected too as the last ones lasted about 70k miles each. Mind you kn...

Re: Stupid questions about motorised conveyances
I just find that the arches are so far into the footwells I have to sit facing the radio as there's no room for my left leg otherwise. I drove a 7esque kit car for years so maybe that's why the tight footwell didn't register? I drove that to work wearing rigger boots and have got size 10 feet. It's...
