Nope, actual video recording. RCA CC510, 1990. Made by Hitachi and rebranded. The manual iris settings are difficult to judge on the viewfinder.

Ben
I need to clean the heads on it. Also, part of that is down to operator error.

Re: What did you do today?

Made a mental note that I cannot ignore the engine bearings much longer.

That now makes 3 cars I need to pull the engine.

Hooli wrote: Sun Apr 28, 2024 4:06 pm Mind telling us the model of each bulb? I really should do the same job on mine. It annoys me everytime I drive it in the dark.
The ones I got are the wrong type, they don't have the base. But, they work.

If you don't care about that, then search 12v 0.9w t1 mini bulb.

Re: Y2k Jag XJ8

The right bulbs arrived finally. 20240427_183309.jpg Tiny grain of wheat ones with a little blue cover. 20240427_200741.jpg Replaced the burned ones by the gearshift. 20240427_183355.jpg Cruise switch illumination works again. 20240427_203059.jpg Gearshift track also lights up. Getting better. Phil

Re: Y2k Jag XJ8

The bulbs I ordered arrived.
Naturally they were listed wrong and are completely incorrect. Ordered some more, which will hopefully be the correct type.

It was stripped and has been left half dismantled for over 2 years. I'm not even bothering with it.
