My missus had a 1989 GR as a company car and in a lot of ways it was better than my Mk2 Golf GTi.
She's not a car person but still says that she misses it at times. I've suggested buying one but she reckons that we have enough cars and is happy with her Citigo.

I got one of those on Eddie's recommendation, it's only used a few times a year but is well worthwhile having.

MoT pass for the MGB but they still have it to look into the 'flickering' oil pressure when warm. Normally it's steady at 65-70 but has recently started rapidly flicking between 75 and 80. I suspect a stuck oil pressure relief valve but am no expert. It's 50 years old now so is entitled to have a b...

We've got a 1.6 diesel one and are very happy with it.
We've only had to remove the seats a couple of times during Uni moves.
It'll cruise at 85mph 5 up and normally gives around 55mpg. Apart from a clutch cylinder failing it's been very reliable over the 6 or 7 years since we bought it.
