I went to take my fanny mould off the 16. It's one of those instances where you can see all the bolts and fittings but you can't get any spammer near them. I applaud you for your perseverance. I gave up and just welded up the pipe form underneath.

I've had the best results when sealing wraparound windscreens by using black single part urethane sealant. It sets just like rubber, but isn't as permanent as tiger seal. Yup. My R16( yes, another one!) is in the garage. I took it off the road only to dinitrol it so I can use it with a little less guilt. That was 18 months ago! FFS!
