Re: Two wheels good.
My mate has bought a Yamaha R1 50th anniversary special, in yellow and black speedblocks, colloquially known as Kenny Roberts paint.
I have just purchased a Kenny Rogers sticker to put on it when he isn't looking.

Re: Two wheels good.
Follow on from the pothole debacle. I collected the Innova and found it fits in the back of the partner. Bonus. When I got home I had a closer look and thought it odd that if the wheel was buckled then why was the sprocket carrier hitting swingarm. Stripped it down and found the sprocket carrier be...

Re: Two wheels good.
I can't remember how much you've had to do with bikes. But I always remove the pads & pump the pistons out to the disc before I take the callipers off. It makes the pistons much easier to remove than if they are all the way in. I will do that and use the trick of filling the piston with a socke...

Re: Two wheels good.

It took a week to get it apart, two weeks to wait for parts and three days to put it together. Everything that could go wrong, did. Even wheeling it down my driveway was a nightmare of sie...

Every single one at one point seemed to have a sticker on the handlebar cover with NEW GEAR PATTERN written on it and a diagram of the changes that had been made.

Re: Two wheels good.
I used to like the maximum speed in gear line on the speedometer on the old C90.
If I remember correctly you had to rev it in second gear until you couldn't see out of the mirrors before dropping it into third gear and losing all the revs you had gained.

Re: Two wheels good.
Reminds me of taking the rear hub out of the Sprint GT I had, on those the hub seizes into the swingarm. I found a way to use a calliper bolt in the swingarm to lever against the disc & get some pressure on it while I got the hammer out. Took fucking hours though. Yeah, they do that as well, th...
