Re: Nissan Vannette/LDV Cub. Opinions?

I like the Note/Modus from a looks point of view. I think it is just a touch too small. I could be wrong though. Following on from my question that started with Nissans, Minis and Berlingos….. Was chatting with a friend and he asked if I had considered a Gen 1 Multipla. The 1.9 JTDi motor?? Any good...

Re: Nissan Vannette/LDV Cub. Opinions?

I wouldn't go near a modern diesel with clutch trouble as that will get very expensive very quickly. Why not have a go on Retroshite's raffle for a proper Mini Clubman this weekend I come from a Mini family. My dad always had a mini, alongside his full sized family cars. I would struggle to wear an...

Re: Nissan Vannette/LDV Cub. Opinions?

Looking at Clubvans, two for £4500 are cheapest I can see. However…… 2008 Diesel clubman for £1000 about 140 miles from here. Knowledge and opinion on this sort of description invited. Slipping clutch, EML. My American cars often have EML/Service Soon lights on and don’t worry me. Mini Clubman D 1.6...

Not in my price range.

They retain value insanely.

I play in the sub £1500 market.

But…….. Find one as you say.

Re: Nissan Vannette/LDV Cub. Opinions?

I was, indeed the small voice at the back whispering "Assstrroooo..." but didn't put my hand up. ❤️ 😂😂😂😂 I mentioned elsewhere that some friends have a mandate to prevent you from getting your ass blasted. Really good friends will enforce the mandates The Astro is more than enough van for...

Re: Nissan Vannette/LDV Cub. Opinions?

HAVING REALISED THAT ANOTHER MEDIUM SMALL VAN IS A BIT SILLY WHEN I ACTUALLY HAVE THE ASTRO ALREADY.

MY ATTENTION HAS GONE BACK TO A CAR I LIKED FOR ALL THE WRONG REASONS

SO ITS A REASONABLY SMALL WAGON.

ADVISE, DISCUSS, TUT, SHAKE HEADS.

THANK YOU.

Re: Nissan Vannette/LDV Cub. Opinions?

Funny how sometimes you can’t see the woods for the trees. I have no intent to sell the Astro Van Unless of course, someone else needs it a lot more than me. Chatting to my mate @craigrk this morning about various things including the Caddy and 206CC he reminded me that the Astro van is actually a V...

Re: Nissan Vannette/LDV Cub. Opinions?

A mate had one for a few years. He loved it. 2.3d noisy as all hell and slow. He managed to get it showing an indicated 90 but suffered with tinnitus after for a few days. I drove it once and made my 1.8 endura diesel escort van seem fast. He also had the 8 seater nissan vannette with a 2.0 petrol ...

Re: Nissan Vannette/LDV Cub. Opinions?

Alternatives? Eurovan 806, Evasion/Synergie, Ulysse, Zeta for glass. Expert, Jumpy/Dispatch, Scudo for non-glass. Brilliantly written. Boooom !! All the info I need. I am generally cautious of the French stuff but guess enough of them about too. I think glass with a dark tint would work.
