Re: Never mind the Gas Crisis heres the Wobstang!
A bit of a trip for you but for anyone in the midlands Proptech on the Hartlebury trading estate are very good for that sort of thing. They've been going for years and know their stuff.

Re: Scruffy's Scrappers
Is there much in the way of bits n bobs left from that ZX? A friend of mine owns a ZX Volcane and may have need of some bits. The ZX is totally complete, the engine has had work and all new belts etc which is why it was removed in the first place. I'll look into the tapatalk thing now cheers. Edit....

Re: Scruffy's Scrappers
Well. it looks like the ZX Volcane is too far gone to be worth doing sadly so will be broken for spares by the looks of it? I've more photos but there seems to be a 5mb file size limit?

Re: Peugeot 306 shenanigans
I'd happily weld it if a donor can be found that we can simply cut the offending bit out of and stitch it back in.

Re: Scruffy's Scrappers
I'm sure one of the Johns did a epic weldathon not long ago on a modern disco, if I remember the chassis is thin sheet tacked onto angle iron corners as standard. Yep, they seem to have moved away from box section at some point. The chassis section on this had actually split down the seam, expanded...

Re: Scruffy's Scrappers
Nothing to report lately on the 405 thankfully. It made it to Pugfest again last weekend in the company of my mates ZX 16v this time too, yet again the weather was perfect but I couldn't be arsed taking any pictures this time around. Now moving on to the scrappers... They don't tend to be mine but I...

Re: Four Oh! Five.
Good to see another 405 on here. I can't say I find the sunroof an issue in mine and I'm about 6'. As for seats and Citroens the only ones I have experience of are ZX Volcane seats and they are definitely on par with any of the 405's I've had, even when doing 600+ miles in a day.

Re: Scruffy's Scrappers
My money would be on the 309 too. The couple of old Fords I had were strong engine and gearbox/drivetrain wise but typically for them dissolved at a rapid rate.
