Re: EBay Finds
I used to drive all those 80s Fords and Vauxhalls when they were new, across company fleets, hire cars and courtesy stuff. For some reason, the Orion was far less a sum of parts than managing to be a booted Escort. Even an abused 1.3L or MkIII van was a better chuck-around than an Onion.

Re: Wobland Spottage
Unfortunately it is also a bit of a sad reflection on today's car buying section of society. They wouldn't have fobbed some of that shit off on the average W123/W126/R107 buyer. Or 100S Coupe or E3/E9 BMW enthusiasts come to that....

Re: Wobland Spottage
Saw this as we came off the A31 into Cadnam this afternoon....This actual car with its highly appropriate number plate and from what could be seen as it passed every bit as tasty as it appears in this Bonhams listing. They sold it for 25K in 2017, probably can add another ten bags to that now.... ca...

Re: Dan's Crapi project.
If those are the niggles for a first mile out it is pretty impressive....You've essentially hand-built a production-line car from a combination of original used and new replacement parts with a potential age difference of half a century. Shaking it down isn't going to be a 5 minute job but you'll be...

Re: EBay Finds
Mine has made me walk (well use another car) lately....Bit mystified by that one, though...Mine has an alarm/immobiliser but it is no way linked to the ignition key which is a plain, black plastic-topped job just like a 1970s Fiesta, nothing in it at all. The LHS is the top level of the New Yorker r...

Re: Wobland Spottage
Some had Corvette-spec 6.0 V8s I think. Fucking ugly though, as you say.
