Re: My new Honda Civic

07805 157639. It's a really nice car. I should keep it but I have a PSA fixation and enough spares to keep them going indefinitely. Plus the Honda can only be run on products from petrol stations...

It's yours for the scrap price of £150, what a bargain.

Re: Wobland Spottage

Extra spottage points for not giving a shit about the owner sat in his Standard.....Posh git, too, Super Ten with its opening boot. There is loads of tat in my little town but I rarely take photos. I just don't want to be that weird bloke taking photos of people's driveways. I'm already that weird ...

Re: My new Honda Civic

I weighed in a cat and got very little for it,- how much do the cretins who nick them get? I can imaging the hacking mess they make doing it... They have done very neat job on this. Scrapyards won't give you much for cats, you need to take them to a specialist. I wait til I've got a few hundred qui...

Re: My new Honda Civic

Yeah I know about cats and their values. I know where I can get good money for genuine ones and they will buy aftermarket ones for £3 a piece but I've kept a few. I have one that hasn't seen many miles, I might stitch that in. Oh and the headlining is really saggy. I'm surprised at this, I thought t...

Re: My new Honda Civic

When we talked about it, my idea was just to weigh it in. Good cats on these too... But I've had a good look at it and it's way too good to break up. These old Hondas will last indefinitely, they were so well built. It's a sport. IMG_20190719_155706.jpg it has a decent half leather interior IMG_2019...

My new Honda Civic

Well today I had a phone call to go and rescue a young employee of a friend. Somehow he spun his Focus and knocked three tyres off the rims. I turned up with some Xantia wheels and got the car mobile enough to get on the trailer. Some of the wheel angles were a bit skewed though. It now has slight r...

Re: Disco 3 and me

One of the dads on the school run is service manager for a Land Rover dealer. He told me to never ever buy one. Apparently the later ones have no dipstick, just a sensor telling you how much oil is in it. Naturally the sensors are not the most reliable things ever made so the only true way to check ...
