Re: 1968 Austin 1100 Mk1 (Take 2)
Do you know the lengths BL went to in order to make the Allegro a vastly superior car?

Re: Squire's voitures
Not much to report on the car front. I've been collecting wings for the impending Morris spruce-up, and took the Snipe up to Northumberland for holiday. I am pleased to say it ran beautifully all the time but I have noticed some horrible tyre wear on the nearside front, which is the one I had troubl...

Even if the fins aren't rotten it could still be blocked inside. Re-cored radiators sadly never last as long as the o...

Re: 1968 Austin 1100 Mk1 (Take 2)
This CVC of yours will be a development of the RB. 310 '3 bob job' used on my Humber. I have just about finished setting it up as best I can. As long as you bear in mind all the functions are separate but work together you will understand it; patience is key. There's nothing to be gained by geeking ...

Fair cop, keeping them with the car is fine. My Moggy's static belts are well ripe for replacement... now I might do the same as you.

Re: Crash! Bang! Wallop!
Some good ones there Eddie. It's a wonder there aren't more tractor incidents, the way the things shift now and get caned around. Lorry stopped on the contraflow made me chuckle, all the vehicles behind with no way around must have been stuck for hours, perhaps thinking it was a good idea to join a ...
