This is a custom built Motor home
The base is a 1955 GMC Greyhound Scenicruiser, while the top is crafted from a 1949 AeroCoach

Rebuilt the headlight switch from my mum's C15 Romahome as the sidelights kept cutting out. One contact bent back to shape and two hours fiddling to get the damn thing back together. Works now though

My father said he preferred the Midget over the Spitfire, because the Spitfire rear suspension with its' Beetle-esque tuck in made the back end much less predictable when being pushed than the Midget. He said the Midget was faster in the corners as a result. I think that was fixed on later Spits?I ...
