Re: Wobland Spottage

Take it that's a minx and that's sort of m shape on the badge? Yes Minx, Series II....The badge is just the mock-heraldic badge of Hillman with three vertical lozenges. images.jpg I could just do with a lozenge, throats a bit rough. Quite why you'd have three as your emblem is anyone's guess, thoug...

Re: ?

I would rather deep fry a paste of every half-open jar in our cupboard and serve it on stale bread than order a fucking take-away. Me too. Amazingly, despite my road having been in a terrible mess a lot of last year, the folks that live further down from me order takeouts. That's 9 miles from the j...

Re: The UK's fascination with convertible cars

No, the Grill is a takeaway just as you enter the village just past Reeves Tyres and Wheelright. I know the café you speak of but have yet to honour them with my presence. Must try them one day.
It's only got about 40 foot of frontage so you'll have to find somewhere else to park.

Re: The UK's fascination with convertible cars

I didn't put the hood up on my MG last year at all but it covered a reasonable mileage. Just as well as it's the early 'packawsy' type and horrible to erect. The number of wet days varies greatly in different parts of this country and I'm fortunate to live on the dry side. I had two trips to Suffol...
