I drove a Maxi 1750 many moons ago, I felt embarrassed just getting into it. It was rather good in a pretending to drive using armchair, two cushions and a saucepan lid kinda way. A bit like a car designed by Clement Atlee and made in a boat yard.
Actually it was fairly crap.

Why not emulsion for the engine? There's a good precedent that in the late 30s some world speed record aircraft used evaporative cooling so the water in the emulsion could just boil off and help cool the engine. OK there's a downside or two, not least you'd have to keep on painting it but people ha...
