Any car that was vaguely sporting was got at by lads, especially I'd say late 70s early 80s. The addition of electronic ignition modules, spotlights, stereos and the like would have proved irresistible to any hot blooded young chap. The 124 coupe I owned had more dodgy wiring than Steve Austin...

Fixed, I remembered I had some contact adhesive for shoes. I stick to it like shit to a blanket now. A LOT of gravel about now thanks to the heavy rain, back wheel wobbled in a few corners!

Seems to be a fairly common complaint, either seats or trousers being too slippy. One idea I saw is to try 'Glove glu' as used by goalies. I've sanded the pants of my trousers and cleaned the seat with meths, I'll go for a ride later and report back.

I've not known any textiles that don't slide about, seems to depend on the sear cover as far as I can tell. Some are a lot worse combinations than others though.
