It’s all strangled by the features and emissions gear. I can guarantee there will not be 180 bhp at the wheels. And the torque on modern engines is non-existent.

Hoiked this thing out and prepared its replacement. Was a bit of a struggle but won eventually. The reason for this is that first and reverse gear are knocking badly, I am guessing a tooth is broken. Today I painted the workshop floor - an annual bore best done on a warm day when there is fuck all else to do. I changed the fuel filter on my 318Ti whilst underneath it doing pre MOT checking and discovered a 1999 date stamp on the old one. :shock: That's nothing, my oil filters are from the 1960's.
