It's yours do what you want. I just remember running two cars on a budget & neither of them ever being right.

Re: Supercharging the climate with a XJR V8

Thanks it is indeed, I always thought they weren't as a V8 isn't proper. But it hides it well & behaves like a proper engine with a lovely grumble underneath the blower screaming when asked to move.

Re: BMW E38 740iL

Years ago a mate had a fancy Clifford alarm going off at random* (always 3 am ish) in an Escrote, he eventually sat up in the car to see why & found a spider that came out & crawled over the sensor. After evicting the the spider the problem stopped.

Re: Supercharging the climate with a XJR V8

Oddly enough I worry more about about taking the seat apart when I get around to it. Stripping an engine like that is simple enough if you follow a plan & so forth. I've never taken a seat apart so it'll be strange new territory for me.

Re: Reliable Honda Engine: a project thread

Put a wheel barrow at the boot of the ovlov & slide the engine in.

Or cut a hole in the floor & make a twin engined ovlov.

Supercharging the climate with a XJR V8 - MOT Passed

It's about time I got this thread here I guess... A quick recap, I got this XJR in jan with 76k on it. It's now on nearly 80k at an average of 18.6mpg according to the dash. Seems reasonable to me for a 1.7ton luxuary beast with a 4ltr supercharged V8 auto that makes me smile every time I drive it &...

Aye that's the place, I know the name now you said it. I must have passed his cafe as I went that way too.
