Re: Cars you never wanted but ended up with and quite liked.
Just because really, wife doesn't want another due to age (hers did fail the mot catastrophically with rot 2 years after I'd sold it) as her car needs to be a certain age as she gets a car allowance and I prefer estate cars to impractical cabrios.

Re: What did you do today?
I took the SLK to the petrol station today for ITS bi-annual fill-up. Only £103 of super-unleaded so slightly less than the Jag. Should see them both until the spring... Since it was serviced and MOT'd, it feels really harsh, suspension-wise. I think they have inflated the tyres to the correct pres...

Fitted a carplay/aa stereo to my new passat It's great! 20231017_164656.jpg It's the third one I've fitted into my cars now and I'm very happy with it. Is that one of those generic Chinese units? Got a link? The reviews I've seen on many are mixed. Many say they're crap and crash. So would be good ...

Re: Prace your bets.....
I wondered what this was about till I caught up the CBW thread. Yeah that would have helped prevent when the multi on Liverpool docks burnt down wouldn...

Re: What did you do today?
Sold the Volt to an AS member then saw a Passat on FB marketplace whilst having a pint waiting for the missus to pick me up. Bought it on the way home, it's like a new car, one owner, full history, 89k, auto highline spec with heated leather and everything and not a single dent on it Screenshot_2023...
