I got the E36 back last Thursday. The inner balljoints look like a pain in the arse due to the nut on top being in the engine bay. I remember doing wishbones on the old 316i, but with a 4-pot the engine stopped short of being too much in the way. Do them from underneath. I had an inner balljoint go...

2013 onwards is the third gen MINI with the three pot B38 engine. Apart from the odd crank thrust bearing issue, they're not bad. 1000 times better than the old Prince rubbish.

Well played on the 1300 Doloshite. I would imagine the engine has a value if it runs really well. Pulling a scrap car apart is excellent fun.

The tunnel will hold the car together so don’t be a cissy about jacking it up.

1968 Monte Carlo. It was uncharacteristically dry that year, and Vic Elford won in a 911, the first victory for the Porsche. The highest place Mini was third.

Plus a 15 year old aldi or bm look the same as a new ones. Fit a wanker plate to a recent one and people will think you're scum. FTFY M8. 3 Series Touring and 5 Series (any) - but not M Sport. They're nice and just blend in. Rolls Royce Wraith - fucking baller. Any Bentley. just...no. Anything Audi...
