The mk 5 in the black and white pic did have a narrower screen than your Mk6 Cros,a lot of it was down to strength,Reliants fibreglass knowledge was in its infancy and they weren't confident enough in having a larger screen at that point,also saved a tiny bit of weight.

At risk of sounding like a spazwagon obsessive,the front ally hubcaps were fitted on all sidevalves,I think it was deleted in the 3/25 but many owners fitted them.Do sod all and you can't see them but I've been guilty of fitting a full chrome mini trim on the front of a robin.

It was the first other one I had seen and being both X reg and gold I had to get a picture,wouldn't have minded the back doors off it either seeing as mine has had a very giffer paint repair on both sides,it looks like it has sweat patches
