Re: Do EVs make sense to you?

Just as an aside I'm 100% in agreement with the view that they're too expensive.

Re: Do EVs make sense to you?

I've just read this: https://www.autotraderroadto2030.co.uk/ These are probably the most pertinent comments that I saw after a quick scan through: "Concerns around the cost of new EVs and charging infrastructure continue to persist, with our latest consumer research revealing that a staggering ...

Re: Pug 107, citroen relay and '54 tt quattro

That's very erudite Hooli, especially when compared to your normal grunts and shreiks.

Can whoever educated you now try to teach Paul English?

P.s, I didn't know that.

Re: Drum's motorised conveyances

I get everything I might possibly need ready, which usually involves searching for hours if not days, and then never use the bloody things.

A long time ago I was on a managers course and the one thing I remember from it is:

JFDI : Just Fucking Do It!

I still procrastinate far too much.

Re: Wobland Spottage

There's something wrong with that VW.
It's a 76 reg but is an earlybay or crossover, which stopped being made in 71/72.
Maybe it was an import, it does seem to be LHD, and the date of registration is that when it was imported?

Re: What did you do today?

With our UP! and virtually identical Citigo it's very easy. I seem to remember the Roomster is as well.

Re: What did you do today?

It probably saves 5p on the cost of production and gives the dealers a steady income stream. Most of the people who replace their own bulbs won't be in the market for new cars so the manufacturers don't give a shit about them. The mainstream motoring media could include things like that as part of t...

Re: Mini Memories. What are yours?

20190119_181042.jpg I learned to drive on the road in this one, I'd already driven Tractors, an Austin Somerset and A35 in fields. It had been bought a few years before for my brother and cousin, also my one aunt tried learning to drive in it. It was eventually left in the garden and scrapped after...

Re: EBay Finds

I trust my local garage but they didn't want to do it and effectively subcontracted it to the bodyshop, I paid the bodyshop directly and they wouldn't release it until I'd paid. As it was it was the only place that Chris could find that'd do it, I get the impression that it's a bit involved for most...
