Stick them both on Silverstone. Let's see who's in the lead after 10 laps. If the electric behemoth lasts 10 laps.

Re: What did you do today?

How's the insurance costs getting on in your state? Talking to my friends who still own properties in Florida. Most are finding it hard to get even basic insurance. Bloody expensive, in short. We got dropped by our insurance company and had to find another, which naturally drove the cost up substan...

Re: Monkey see, Monkey go - To Transylvania

I've not priced up the three gearshift parts, but I can't imagine it's more than £4-500 even at dealer prices to have them supplied fitted. I've also asked Bub for a price to bring her home, it should save a bit more if I do the work myself & be easier than having to get down to collect her aft...

Re: What did you do today?

Was it a prefabricated and just assembled on site? That's pretty good going to be at that stage Nope, all built from scratch. That's what happens when you order the things you need ahead of time, know exactly what you need in order to build the structure, and finally, don't oversubscribe the labor....

I'll ask my sister if I remember. Talked to my horse owning friend. She recommended this stuff. I'll update...

Re: Stupid questions about motorised conveyances

Thanks. Always wondered about the K series. So swapping steel for alloy bolts would stop that? I don't think they'd be strong enough without a redesigned block to allow for much thicker bolts. The plastic dowels mentioned were an issue too. They were to locate the head laterally, probably for when ...

Re: Electric vehicles, pros and cons. Have your say.

Without fail, every electric car owner I've been out to, to fit a towbar has the same line. "Is oat milk OK, we don't use dairy." Wankers. Tell me about it. My missus is a vegan. With her it's almond milk. Yesterday, she tried to tell me that I can use the water from a tin of chickpeas in...
