here we go folks, I should update more often! sorry about that Here I am cutting holes and steel for the rear damper mounts on Sandy the Landy 109 project. They had mysteriously been cut off and ground flat!?! 20200519_122200.jpg Fuel tank had to come off to weld the damper mounts on and was leaking...

stud extractor on those thermostat cover studs, after using wd penetration fluid. Stag and Triumph slant 4s have this issue on a bigger and more expensive scale, steel studs through alloy casings. Blow torch heat on the alloy therm cover along side the stuck studs before extracting with double nuts ...

Well merc didn't totally disgrace themselves as the gearbox inhibitor switch was still available and "only" about 90 quid. In Deek news it fired on easy start as it appears there is no fuel getting through and I haven't got any 2 stroke mix here. I will have to go home and rob the lawn mo...

Top work Simon 👍 loving this thread That overspray around the engine bay would drive me nuts though 😂 On the Triumph oil filter that bottom retaining washer has some form of non return valve built into it, same as TR7 and Dolly.
