C6s present the same problem. One can ALMOST forgive them their myriad problems, in order to have those soft opening door bins.

This is the German "Allboy™" original... To operate them requires intelligence, not force... Shame. Drastically reduces the opportunities for Dave_numbers-style catastrophes and the ensuing rants. Still, at least this engaging design is more likely to survive to confuse future generations...

Iirc the left hand end of the handle as in the pic is the hinge, the right hand end is a cap underneath the handle - the compression of the handle holds the cap tight down - a robust pull upwards at the right end of the handle should see it pivot about the hinge end, opening the cap.
