Re: What do you keep in your car "just in case "?

Bloody hell you lot carry some crap about. I think the only thing that sits in my cars permanatly is an ice scrapper. Every winter I struggle to find one so just leave one in each car. Hopefully there will be a jack in the car if I need one, otherwise it is mobile phone to ring the breakdown mob and...

Re: EBay Finds

Pretty car. Not the Supermiriafiori it first appears to be and not £10k, but nice anyway. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/375328097432?itmmeta=01HSPHHV3KB1T3KZVP0A2SMX3E&hash=item57634c4498:g:TLkAAOSwmkRl~rrP 695D3A7B-B854-42EF-9FB0-FC1F68E9BC07.png £10k? I remember them being £250 shitters for the ...

That is a lovely old thing, it's a shame the tinwork doesnt have the original paint as it has a lovely used look about it.

Re: What Classic ?

Kicking myself for missing out on the Practical Classics 3500 Auto auctioned at the NEC today. I'm not sure you missed much if that lot have been messing with it, though..... Yeap cars that have been through their hands are rarely any good and it certainly isn't a selling point for me. The Renault ...

Re: Crash! Bang! Wallop! - Eddie Honda Shirking His Duties Edition

The journalism on that piece is a right load of shit as well. Lots of drama about it as the car "plummeted" off the road. It also caused noticeable damage to the grass before hitting railings that had kids walking past just moments before. What a complete and utter load of shit. Probably f...

Re: Scooter for a 16 year old

I thought I better check my lecy thing and on the V5 it is down as a Moped in class L1. In eco mode it is 28mph but sport will get it up to 40 on the speedo. I suspect it is one of these cat P jobs even though it was registered in 2021.

That James is the nicest of the lot really. The Excelsior might be worth a punt and the folding solex but too far away for me.

Re: Scooter for a 16 year old

Having an electric scooter I would say don't go near them as the range is rubbish and you will be constantly charging it. They also say you mustn't charge them in the house or leave them unattended whilst plugged in. Electric transport is the future though so we are continually told.

Re: Stupid questions about motorised conveyances

It's a Renault automatic they never really worked when new and are to be avoided as much as possible. The do have a lot of electrics on them as Renault always wanted to make them more complicated than need be. Maybe check any connections / earths you can see.
