Obtained a used load sensing valve yesterday for the now-needy Corsa and went about fitting it today.

C6s present the same problem. One can ALMOST forgive them their myriad problems, in order to have those soft opening door bins.

Re: How VW's get pineappled..
Why is it that the modifiers always mess up nice rare examples rather than building their "individual" idea on a rough one. Unfucked cars are easier to work on. You can set straight into sanding the paint off and cutting the springs without worrying about the floors falling out. ...lazy b...

Re: What did you do today?
Today I did spaff another bloody 30 quid on another bloody eezibleed gadget, because I had no other option to get the pink Corsa bled up. Still, it needed a change of brake fluid - we must have had it four years and I've never changed it before :o Why did I have to buy another one of these massively...

This is the German "Allboy™" original... To operate them requires intelligence, not force... Shame. Drastically reduces the opportunities for Dave_numbers-style catastrophes and the ensuing rants. Still, at least this engaging design is more likely to survive to confuse future generations...

^^^^ Brute force. Iirc the left hand end of the handle as in the pic is the hinge, the right hand end is a cap underneath the handle - the compression of the handle holds the cap tight down - a robust pull upwards at the right end of the handle should see it pivot about the hinge end, opening the cap.

Re: What did you do today?
Put a replacement starter on the pink Corsa. No injuries were sustained. Thankfully. Did you get chance to check the ignition switch? Eh? Sorry, you've lost me... (Or alternatively, what have I forgotten to do?...) Anyhoo, today was 'check how I might have completely cocked up the camber angle at t...
