Re: Reliable Honda Engine: a project thread

Oi! Some of us, well at least one, are over 60. I've only ever had 2 autos, both as short term company cars, a BMW525E and a Sierra 2.3 Ghia. Both my present cars are manual and I don't see an auto in my future unless I'm forced to have one. I would go all 'DollyWobbler' on you but the mods here do...

Re: Reliable Honda Engine: a project thread

^ What he said.

We've all got to learn somewhere, and a 1990s Civic is probably as good as anything else to learn on.

I just wish he'd get over this auto gearbox aberration though, he's the wrong side of 60 for one of those :-)

You should be able to get it running OK on one set of cam profiles, but as I understand it y...

Re: Two wheels good.

Eric's a fucking legend. He did the first British solo ascent of the Eiger in 1981 and was the first person in the world to base jump off it in 1986. He's still climbing, skiing & base jumping at the age of 84.

Here's his Wiki page:

^ That's Tremadog. I used to go climbing there, about 2 miles down the road on the left of your photo, by Eric's Cafe. He likes bikes too, they're always welcome at his cafe.

Re: Two wheels good.

Re: Drum's motorised conveyances

Yep, good to hear that the fault has been diagnosed. That's at least half the battle won.
