Re: My slightly knackered old cars

Wow Scotland must be a hotbed of scrap car enthusiasts, swapping spoils with each other!

Seems to be far more stuff up there

Re: EBay Finds

I once towed a car trailer with an Escort on it, behind a Metro 1.3 with 5 people on board.

Re: Shite spots 2020.

The only 2020 thing I have seen so far is next years calendar.

Re: My slightly knackered old cars

That screen rot is an easy enough fix, I would think it easier to fabricate than cut and weld out of another though but everyone's style of bodgery is different!

Re: My slightly knackered old cars

I saw that Cavalier, if it wasn t so far away I may have been tempted! I had one twenty odd years ago and mine was rotten on the a posts, like where Capris go.

Fancy finding an Ascona in a scrapyard, you seem to have plenty of good breakers up there!

Re: EBay Finds

Yes, but of a pointless car really in the UK. I think the yanks liked them though. Good for cruising at 55mph and it will probably never go wrong other than rust.

Re: EBay Finds

It's not an eBay find but no point starting it's own thread. I've been offered a very tidy, full service history 1999 Nissan QX 2.0 v6. Anybody want it?

Anybody in the UK at all want it? Thought not...

Oh and he wants £1300...

Re: Dan's Crapi project.

That is a beautiful car, I do wish I had kept at least one of my Capris!
