Yeah should be I believe. £9 if not.
Being showman, not like they'd pay it anyway!

Re: What did you do today?
Went into Bristol centre to have a meal with colleagues. Departed the bus early because I spotted this rig on the way in. Re: That awful colour MGB GT
Well he has a garage so that's a good start at least. Depressing thing is that for the £5k I got for it, there isn't exactly many other classics ready to go and in reasonable condition for that money. Not that I'm intending to get anything else just yet but would have been nice to have that option w...

Re: 1979 Trouble Spitfire
Yesterday was a year that I've owned this. Where the feck has that time gone. Funnily enough I was up at storage collecting the old MGB GT wheels today. Had a peak in and the mouldy steering wheel has actually sorted itself. 🙃 https://autoshite.com/uploads/monthly_2024_05/PXL_20240507_174135505.jpg....

Re: That awful colour MGB GT
I've had this so long that it feels weird to know it's gone. Got £5k for it. I had hoped for more but didn't have anyone else when they looked around it on Monday. This morning I had like 4 messages appear.
But cash in the bank, it's gone and one less car to keep on top of.

🥹 https://youtu.be/o_K_IxjSj_E?si=VKfrysf5cTrgkADq Would have been 7yrs at the end of July. I feel sad as end of an era. But is the sensible thing for me to have done. Sold it to a chap who found it on eBay. He lives in Midsummer Norton, so I'll probably still see it. Just hope it gets looked after,...

Re: Sics Consolidated Faded Moderns Thread - 2006 Golf Mk5 GTI & 2004 BMW Z4 2.2
If the CCV system is original it will be completely fucked. Don’t buy cheap shit off eBay. Febi kits are OE. Take the inlet manifold off. It takes a bit longer but it’s easier. The Z4 engine is much easier to work on than the E46 as there is tons more room around the back of the engine. With the ma...

Re: Sics Consolidated Faded Moderns Thread - 2006 Golf Mk5 GTI & 2004 BMW Z4 2.2
Z4 coupé are rare. About 10-20 for sale in the whole country at one time. Also I don't really want to sell the BGT for less than £5k. I look to see what you get classic car wise for that money and it's not a lot. Mostly projects and some tatty, fairly mundane porridge. Already at 5.5k public price i...

Went for an evening drive. https://autoshite.com/uploads/monthly_2024_05/PXL_20240503_203635249.jpg.fca1c0f65b677d28e8e6f1ff2a3f7df9.jpg Good fun. Brakes were hot but not baking. Handbrake shoe bit was toasty. Probably needs a bit more adjustment and/or bedding in. Rear disc https://autoshite.com/...

Re: What did you do today?
It's why you get so much car for the money and why they're so cheap. Stuff wears and you have to DIY otherwise the bills would become ridiculous. Plenty of people don't/won't fix their own car and send it to the garage (or even worse, main dealer) on every little problem, would find the bills crippl...
