Re: Any HDI fondlers provide help?

XUD's create a lot more heat in the head, because IDI and pre combustion chamber. DI's don't run as hot. The main reason Darren Lobb went away from them and did what he did was the excess heat and, not being able to get rid of it. Thread drift FAO Scruffy, did you see he has revived his channel and...

Nah, I'll stick to the Chieftain! :) why is it smoking so much? Full choke or have I missed the explanation? It's running on 30:1 2-stroke fuel because the gas can I use for premix fits in the engine bay without falling out. 18840494-7495193-image-a-64_1569267658502-329882377.jpg Great work on that...

I can drive From mine to derby in the van and barely gets over 70 on guage. Never gets to halfway either. Do they do summer and winter stats? Having the heater on flat out is very effective at keeping temps down as it's a small radiator after all (with high air flow). I know when taking XUD's out o...

Re: Sics Consolidated Moderns Thread - 2003 Mercedes-Benz E320 Estate

A flat lead acid battery won't charge quickly than one with a decent amount of charge in. The internal resistance increases when discharged. So a short journey is unlikely to get too much charge in it, even with a big alternator. It'll need a good full charge on a battery charger to have any chance...
