Re: Me Van

My old man had a 10 year old 1200 cc Somerset when I was about 6. It looked like a black slug and went like one. Re: Me Van

Good to be here. I've just put a gallon in the tank and will hopefully be starting the engine today for the first time in situ. The air filter no longer fits as previous to my ownership the engine had fallen on this delicate instrument and I feel any attempt to unsquash it will break it. Still works...

Re: Through The Past Darkly - Horrible Headlight History

I've used an acetylene bicycle lamp on a regular basis and can confirm that it requires a great deal of fucking about to keep it functioning correctly. The generator needs to be thoroughly clea...

Re: Wobland Spottage

Here's another Lincolnshire Ford spottage, this one took me unawares. I was looking round one of those places that sells house clearance stuff, and in an open wooden shed behind a stack of old tables and chairs was this...

Re: Me Van

Wires have been knitted together and the lights go on. The only light units I could find (they're 6 1/2 inchers) are Indian made at 5 for 30quid. I've no idea why they sell them in 5's either, but if anyone knows of a sealed beam in this size (untarnished naturellement) I'd be pleased to hear from t...

IMG_20190316_125351035.jpg Right, I got a bit stuck in today so some progress. I've been on this thing for nearly 2 1/2 years now and it needs to be finished and up the road. I stopped posting on that other wretched site a while ago, so to pick things up again- The exhaust is made from any bits of ...
