I still have my Grandfather's softwood bench, he passed away 30 years ago so it dates well before that. Yearly painting and winter cover has seen it last this long.....

I read that warning when I oiled the entire bodywork of the Cowley one year. After my efforts it looked a bit shinier but the effect soon wore off. Anyway, I fancied a bonfire so set fire to the rags I'd been using. Very disappointing.......

Greased Minor front end and the one end of the propshaft I could reach, I never get them both accessible as they don't line up linear-wise but usually manage one each time. CBA to jack the arse up which would have probably helped. Anyway got the toffee hammer out and found about 5-6 small 50p sized ...

If only stuff with that iron engine was more easily obtained over here.....Currently sitting on the fence with the Chrysler, it seems to be approaching the deathwatch kind of problem that usually scraps them. Yes. That and the collective refusal of American buyers to put up with that kind of shit and knock the cars back with a solid threat of litigation instead of writing to Autocar or The Times.
