Re: Claim's Cabbies Corner Fuel Miser
He needs to get another Omega 3.0 to use as a taxi. If he does that for a few months Merseyside will soon be England's answer to the Riviera.

Re: Extinct. The Dinosaurs of the Scrappage Scheme
Although it is a shame some very interesting and rare cars met their demise as a result of the scheme, I mainly miss the mundane stuff which once littered the streets, which ended up being crushed by the thousand. I could go on about missing the chance to enjoy some quality barges, but the disappear...

Re: What did you do today?
Where? Festival of the Unexceptional. Look, full JM spec: I recognise the silver 405. Didn't that belong to a fellow on AS at one time? When I saw that picture it looked familiar. Without digging up threads, I would guess that it might be Partridge's, as I think he had a silver 405 not long ago. I ...

Re: Reliable Honda Engine: a spectral fleet thread
This Mercedes SL is causing quite the stir on the beige eBay tat thread and could be something to consider. It's the perfect combination of the potential for financial ruin of an XJ and the open top motoring of an MX-5 (but in a car which works with an auto box). $_86.JPG https://www.gumtree.com/p/m...

Re: Saturn
Can't understand why this wouldn't cut mustard over on the other place. Something from a defunct manufacturer different to the mainstream offerings is what should be front page material, but unfortunately times change. As a slight digression, I for one find it rather sad that something designed from...

God no. Where's your self respect FFS? Triumph made some very good cars, and this was one of them; popular and well loved until the very end. 40+ years old, and a good one will waltz along at a hundred with the o/d engaged. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Triumph-2500-S-Manual-1977-Mot-May-2020-91-000-m...

Re: Claim's Cabbies Corner (Again)
Both would great, but the additional part about the hackney carriages sounds rather interesting. I had always assumed you had never used them.

Re: HMC Motors- Mystery machine
To be fair, despite the rain and the "unique" paint colour, that doesn't look that bad for a rattle can paint repair.

Re: Reliable Honda Engine: a spectral fleet thread
Excellent. Does it mean the S90 will be sticking around for the longer term as a result?
