Bosch ones are fine on mine. Iirc later cars (which yours I think is) had the aero style wipers. Is the arm a pin or hook?

I got in touch with Robson from the beige for scaryoldcortina's number in case it failed. He lives about 30 miles away and apparently he's a decent mechanic. I'm surprised you haven't used him before. He especially seems pretty switched on with electrical faults too. 30 miles is a decent hike there...

I do wonder if people expect them to work like eBay auctions where the price you bid pushes it up to the next highest bid. It caught me out at first where I bidded the most I'd pay and it jumps right to it as it takes that as the actual bid.
