Re: EBay Finds
A Tasmin was an eccentric choice in Corvette land!
I tried one once, also a f.h.c., I didn’t buy it. It did drive very nicely but the body and interior were just too shonky to put up with.

Iso Lele. IMG_2756.jpeg About forty years ago I met a bloke in a massive shed in the middle of Hereford who was selling an Ro80. In that shed in a cloud of cold-running autochoke-smoke was a yellow Iso Lele. It seemed to be hovering like a spaceship. There was at least one, maybe two, other Leles in...

Re: Forgotten cars
Another fan of the DeTomaso Longchamp here. Like a Ferrari 400, but for proper bastards rather than complete cunts.* I’ve only ever seen a Monteverdi once; in the pit lane at Santa Pod in 1973. It wasn’t starting, several blokes were fiddling with it, two massive 4 barrel carburetters on long inlet ...

Re: EBay Finds
This is a cool old mashup: ‘30s body from a Bentley on a ‘50s Jaguar chassis with a few ‘70s Jag bits. IMG_2752.jpeg The modern radio needs to be binned however. IMG_2753.jpeg ‘Twould suit me better than anything original because I can’t leave alone. The ‘49 Chevrolet is probably a more realistic pr...

Re: Found pics
Not an S800, it’s a Matra-Simca Bagheera.
As you were. (I’ve never seen an S800 that wasn’t uttrly rotten)

Re: Crash! Bang! Wallop! - Eddie Honda Shirking His Duties Edition
I blame Dukes of Hazzard for a generation that believes cars and trucks can fly.
