The XE has failed completely and hasn't even reached X Type sales. It's outsold four to one by the 3 Series. The F Type might have sold if they priced it properly. But the ban is only on sales of vehicles that are solely petrol or diesel powered so we could just get ‘hybrids’ where the electric bit is no more than a wiper motor strapped to a driveshaft

What is the fuel filter like as if that shit has gone round the circuit you could end up with bits turning up every now and again unless you remove and clean the fuel tank and all the lines as well. The consumables to fit the injectors are over £100 as well with stretch bolts and seals. Modern VAG ...

I think they have a breather built into the (plastic) rocker cover which is a service item….had it on a couple of ours at work although not till well over 100k.
