Re: 1974 Dolomite Sprint

[/quote]I have no talent either, one of the patches I welded on to the Acclaim last year has already started peeling off (one of the ones I did last, there was certainly a point around 10 hours in where I stopped giving a shit and started hastily adding pigeon shit MOT patches so I didn't have to co...

Re: Scruffy's Scrappers

Sic. My old man has got zero attention to detail, as long as he can see bits of wire and they're shiny that'd be good enough for him tbh. For me, wheels can pretty much make a car but it's all down to personal taste, if you like them and it's your car fuck what anyone else thinks :-) Chadders. Sound...

:o    Nope, not a cheap option! A much easier option than changing all the hubs over tho I'll grant you that.

Re: Scruffy's Scrappers

Lol, maybe they're still going and have set up a franchise in Kidderminster? My old man's got no attention to detail whatsoever, it took a lot of getting thru to him that it wasn't simply just a case of getting some wheels and fitting them but I got there in the end. He is throwing a fair bit of cas...

Re: Scruffy's Scrappers

Yep, it's an absolute dead ringer for yours. They appear to have removed it, yes as they've also smeared some sort of black gunk on the seal to put it back in, fucktards. The cars seen some paint over the years and I'm pretty sure that's there from previous substandard work by AA approved paint spec...

Re: Scruffy's Scrappers

The ZX has pretty much been stripped. I put a quick ad up on Facebook on the 306 page to help him out after he's advertised it on Marketplace and had virtually no interest. The Paddy's came out in force for the alloys virtually immediately, 4 of them wanting them, 3 of them being called Connor lol £...

Re: Scruffy's Scrappers

Another vehicle that was good for scrap. This Justy is owned by the same chap who owns the ZX. It's not been used since I did loads of work to it and CLINT prepped and painted it. It hadn't been started in 12 months but started first touch of the key with a new battery on it! Some muppet had left th...

The faces Phil, once you start seeing them they are everywhere! Just above the gas torch in your photo ;)

Re: 1951 Pontiac Chieftain

20190801_213237.jpg My big gas torch was just overheating the area and was difficult to work with. I bought a small adjustable torch which is much better for this task. Phil Excellent stuff as ever Phil and you're even providing content for the Genitals, boobs bumholes and face thread at the same t...

Re: Scruffy's Scrappers

That's still pretty crispy, fair play John for fixing it! Looks like a nice sturdy repair too instead of poxy little plates. As you say, at least it hadn't moved out of shape so you had something to work with still. The one I had a look at required a half chassis at the very least but was showing si...
