Valve stem seals leaking on trike,small head gasket blow,oil to atmosphere. Can get a complete top end kit for 19 quid including valve stem seals. Bought a battery on sale from ecp. £12.73 free delivery and 3 year guarantee. it's too tall for battery box so either have to relocate battery,raise lid or lower the base. It's a sealed battery too so can they be laid down or do they need to be upright?

I think sealed still need to be upright, it's gel ones you can tip over.

Don't forget I've got that valve spring compressor that should fit when you get the head off.

Sealed are still wet acid batteries. Keep upright.

The metal lid doesn't close due to battery height. Terminals on top of battery and metal lid could mean issues. I might just take the fucking lid off and velcro a stack a box lid over it.
