It was Oxford in old money but only up until the end of letter-first plates. Reversed XUD are without exception re-issued "age-related" plates - in this case Preston. Nice looking Minor though.....The Reverend Bluejeans wrote: ↑Mon Mar 29, 2021 4:26 pm A tidy 59-60 Minor 1000 on the Morrisons run today. Clarendon grey, later indicators. XUD is an Oxford plate.

I’m in a good mind to find an overseas posting for the next couple of years and return when people can start behaving like rational human beings again.

Re: Wobland Spottage
That Victor is lovely unlike that monstrosity that is parked with it, what an awful looking thing. I did own the saloon version back in 1977 in black, one lady owner, 40k and 40 quid. It was of course nowhere near as nice as this estate but gave good service. There was quite a large hole around the offside indicator and one day as I happily drove along there was a small bump and a crunchy noise. This was the said light falling off the car and being run over so I retrieved it and just carried on using it without trying to bodge it back on. Late one night I was leaving a friend's house and saw that a Met plod P6B was sitting behind it, think that as it it was a small posh estate that somebody had taken umbrage at it being parked there lowering the tone. So back into my mate's house, more coffee and a while later plod had lost interest so off I went. Sold it a bit later for 40 quid to a bloke who had loads of them.

It had flat tyres and didn't look like it had been used in a while. A bit of a waste.

Fake news. The mirror clearly shows nothing behind you. LIAR!
Sorry, accidentally spent the last few minutes looking at Facebook and momentarily caught the tide of the masses. I bet that used to tow a caravan but was parked up and forgotten about when the RV behind it took over. Proper Volvo that.
